Diagnosis and Treatment of Spontaneous Abdominal Wall Hematoma: A Report of 13 Cases

Abstract:

〔Abstract〕Objective: To investigate the diagnosis and treatment of spontaneous abdominal wall hematoma by reviewing clinical
cases. Methods: The clinical data of 13 patients with spontaneous abdominal hematoma admitted to the First Affiliated Hospital of Dali
University from 2010 to 2017 were analyzed. Results: There were 5 cases with conservative treatment, 7 cases with hematoma removal,
1 case with misdiagnosis of appendicitis, and 13 cases were cured. Conclusion: A comprehensive and detailed medical history is
required. Early diagnosis and early treatment can be done in combination with relevant imaging examinations to avoid delay of illness.
