Abstract: 〔Abstract〕Objective: To explore the clinical value of high-frequency two-dimensional superficial ultrasound and color Doppler flow
imaging(CDFI)in diagnosing nodular goiter. Methods: 96 patients with suspected nodular goiter were examined by high-frequency
two-dimensional ultrasonography and color Doppler flow imaging. The follow-up pathological results and the typical ultrasonography
map features were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Among 96 cases of patients with nodular goiter diagnosed by ultrasound, the
diagnosis of nodular goiter of 72 was confirmed by surgery and pathology, 5 cases were diagnosed as thyroid adenoma and 5 cases were
confirmed as thyroid papillae cancer by pathology. The diagnostic accuracy rate of ultrasonography was 75%. Conclusion: Highfrequency
two-dimensional superficial ultrasound combined with color Doppler flow imaging has a high diagnostic rate of nodular
goiter. This diagnostic method is non-invasive, non-radiative, safe and reliable, and can be used as the preferred imaging method for
examining nodular goiter.
