Abstract: The year 2021 marks the beginning of the full implementation of strategy of rural revitalization and it is urgent to study
how multiple subjects build rural communities. In a field study on Fotang village as the pilot for rural revitalization in Dali Bai
Autonomous Prefecture，it is found that the village has built three "communities" of "development"，"governance" and "interests" over which government takes the dominance，farmers form the main body and enterprises take the lead. And it realized the multisubject collaborative construction of rural communities. The case of Fotang village can provide a path demonstration and theoretical thinking for rural revitalization and community development in ethnic areas.
