Abstract:

Abstract Objective To analyze and compare the differences of liposoluble constituents of the larvae and adults of black soldier fly. Methods The liposoluble constituents of the larvae and adults of black soldier fly were extracted by Soxhlet extraction method and determined by using GC-MS the area normalization method was used to analyze the relative amounts of compounds between them. Results Totally 47 peaks were detected from the larvae of black soldier fly and 22 chemical compounds of which were identified accounting for 47.31% of the total content of liposoluble components 21 peaks were detected from the adults of black soldier fly and 16 chemical compounds were identified accounting for 62.47% of the total content of liposoluble components. Conclusion Hydrocarbons and lipid compounds are the characteristic components of the oil of black soldier fly. The adult contains more aliphatic acids while the larvae contain a large number of olefin and phenolic compounds which provide a certain reference for the resource utilization and development of black soldier fly.
