Abstract:

Efficient translation approval process of minority language not only improves translation efficiency and quality， but also promotes the rapid dissemination of Party and state policies and advanced culture in minority areas. Combining with practical experience in translation and taking Dehong Dai language neologism translation as an example， it first summarizes the guiding ideology， principles and methods of Yunnan neologism translation work. Secondly， based on Nida's translation procedure theory， the paper analyzes the translation approval process of new terms in Dehong Dai language from the perspective of "organizational procedures" in addition to "technical procedures". Finally， it introduces the concept of "enterprise process management" by Anupindi， and discusses and evaluates the translation approval process from the perspective of process characteristics.
