Abstract: As the traditional cultural memory of the Jino people, Nuomoruo is a festival held to commemorate the death anniversary of
A Mo Yao Bai, the founder of the world, which is closely related to the natural seasonal calendar, historical memory, religious belief and
livelihood of the Jino people. However, due to historical changes, modernization and cultural memory rupture, and not being officially
recognized as a national traditional festival in the overall sense, the festival was gradually forgotten by the local society. For its
outstanding cultural and practical value, and being a symbol of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature, humanity and
society, and among humans, the festival conforms to the connotation of new rural construction and rural revitalization in the new era.
Therefore, it is of great theoretical and practical significance to reveal the original features of the festival and to discuss the path and
mode of its revival.
