Abstract: The rise of AIGC is reshaping teaching and learning methods and disseminating high-quality educational resources, but it
is also weakening the authority of teachers' traditional roles and putting them in crisis. After clarifying the crisis of the role of teachers
in the AIGC era, the specific reasons for the emergence of teacher role crisis from four levels, this study tries to reshape the expected
identity of teachers in the AIGC era, pointing out that teachers' roles should shift towards becoming collaborators of technology,
facilitators of learning, promoters of moral education, and researchers of education. With the advent of the AIGC era, it is hoped that the
reidentification of teachers' professional positioning can be promoted, for fully leveraging their unique value in education and teaching,
and promoting the improvement of education quality and the students' comprehensive development.
