Abstract: Postpartum depression is a common mental disorder after childbirth, with a complex pathogenesis involving biological, psy⁃
chological, and social factors. Biological factors are closely related to genetics and hormonal fluctuations. Psychological factors include
inadequate knowledge of childbirth and poor adaptation to role change. Social factors mainly include lack of social support and adverse
family environment. In recent years, psychological intervention measures for postpartum depression, such as cognitive behavioral
therapy and mindfulness-based stress reduction therapy, have shown remarkable efficacy. By improving cognitive patterns and strengthening
emotional management abilities, they can effectively alleviate symptoms and enhance the quality of life of patients.
