Chemical Constituents of Astragalus monbeigii

Objective: To learn about the chemical constituents of astragalus monbeigii. Methods: Compounds were isolated from the ethyl acetate part of A. monbeigii with column chromatography and their structures were elucidated by spectroscopic methods. Results: Six compounds were obtained and identified as trilinolein (1), lupeol (2 ), octadecyl -3 -methoxy -4 -hydroxy -benzeneacrylate(3), tetracosanoic acid(4), β-sitosterol(5), and isoliquiritigenin(6). Conclusion: The six compounds were all isolated from this plant for the first time.
