Clinical Analysis of Chemotherapy for 27 Cases of Cervical Carcinoma

Abstract

Abstract:

Objective：To explore the effects of chemotherapy in the treatment of early cervical carcinoma. Methods：Clinical
datums from 27 cases of early cervical carcinoma （Stage （Ⅰ_a~Ⅱ_b）from January 2004 to November 2010 in Gynaecology and Obstetrics Department of Affiliated Hospital of Dali University were conduct retrospective analysis. Results：Five cases in stage II _b were partial remission under chemotherapy management before operation，then，extensive radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy were all successfully performed. Extensive radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy plus internal iliac arterial infusion chemotherapy was successfully performed in the rest 22 cases. All patients were followed up for 4 to 72 months with an average of 25 months except one lost，no recurrence and transfer were observed. Conclusion：Chemotherapy，a good adjuvant therapy of early
cervical carcinoma，can be applied to preoperative，intraoperative or postoperative.
