Abstract:

Objective: To study the lower abdomen expansion shaft flap in treatment of scar contracture deformity after hands burn
and scald. Methods: Twelve cases of scar contracture deformity after hands burn and scald from October 2007 to June 2011 were
treated with lower abdomen expansion shaft flap therapy, total 12 cases of clinical data were conducted retrospectively analysis.
Results: There were functional-correction satisfactory, scar excision completely and without scarring and contracture in six months
follow-up. Conclusion: The therapy of lower abdomen expansion shaft flap in treatment of scar contracture deformity after hands burn
and scald displayed good Long-term effect.
