Abstract:

Yu is a historical figure in Chinese ancient legends, the Qishan flood control story were deeply rooted in hearts of
Chinese. Yu has been deified, Yu has become the hero of the human conquest of nature, the transformation of a natural kind of spirit,
changing the world of the minds of the divinity, Yu Temple could be found everwhere in China. Even there may be some distance
between Yu's prehistoric legend with historical facts, from the historian's and philosophical view, we intends to briefly explore the
path of Yu from the historical to the altar.
