Abstract:

Objective: To verify the correlation between nasal mucosa contact point and headache and to discuss the significance and feasibility of nasal endoscopic surgery through observation of clinical outcomes in patients with nasal mycosa contact point treated by endoscopic surgery. Methods: 52 cases of endoscopic operation in treatment of nasal mucosa contact point headache in patients with preoperative and postoperative headache were analyzed. Results: The total efficiency of nasal endoscopic operation in the treatment of nasal mucosa contact point headache was 96.2%for 3-6 months and 82.7%for 12-24 months. Conclusion: Nasal mucosal contact is one of the causes of refractory headache. Nasal endoscopic operation for correction of abnormal anatomic structure can relieve the headache, but nasal mucosal contact is not the only etiology of refractory headache. After operation, patients should require continued follow - up to observe the long - term effect.
