Investigation of Components in Donkey Feces

Abstract:

By measuring the composition of Dali donkey droppings and comparing with human, pig, ox, horse and goat manure
composition, draw a conclusion with reference to relevant China standards: Nitrogen concentration in donkey urine was 2.65 times of the eutrophication indicator, Chemical oxygen demand and biochemical oxygen demand in donkey urine was 9.4 times and 7.8 times respectively of the maximum allowable daily discharge of water pollution concentration in the intensive livestock industry. Donkey dung and horse manure, organic matter content in close second only to the sheep manure, compared to other five kinds of dung, donkey manure nitrogen content of the lowest, the highest content of total phosphorus, donkey manure in the iron and zinc followed the guidelines for the maximum allowable green manure content of 19.4 times and 1.4 times.
