Abstract:

From Apr.10, 2009 to May 5, 2009, we have made a survey of bird diversity at Erhai Park . In the survey , 18 species
belong to10 families and 5 orders have been recorded. In turns of residents or migrant birds ,14 are resident, 4 are migrant birds; from the types of distributions, there are 8 kinds of Palaearctic species,6 kinds of oriental species,2 kinds of south China species,1 kind of monsoon-type species and 1kind of dislike return .Phylloscopus proregulus, Passer montanus, Emberiza pusilla and Carduelis ambigua were dominant species at Erhai Park. Diversity indices of birds was 2.09 at Erhai Park, the highest bird diversity was the secondary forest, and the lowest was the building area.
