Abstract:

Everyone talks about cultural innovation, but very few reflect upon the subject of cultural innovation. From the
perspective of subject-predicate relation, it is specific individual who is the real subject of cultural innovation. Their subject position
is embodied in their freedom, that is, only when they are free, they can innovate. This idea has a sufficient logic and philosophic
basis. From subject-predicate relation, freedom is not an empty word, but an open predicate structure with rich connotations. Further
more, freedom is closely associated with standard. On one hand, freedom is the fundatin of such standards as morality, ethics and law;
on the other hand, every free sugject must be responsible to their own behavior.

Key words: freedom, cultural innovation, fundation, subject-predicate relation
