Problems for High School Chinese Language Teachers of the Western Yunnan Ethnic Minority Areas in
the New Curriculum Reform and the Countermeasures:Examples from Dali and Lijiang

Abstract:

The paper aims to explore the reflections of high school Chinese language teachers in the western Yunnan minority areas on the content and requirement of the new curriculum reform and its countermeasures. In the process of reform implementation,teachers faced with the problems of inadequate recognition of new curriculum concept,insufficient teaching material and teaching method,as well as hardware facilities and expert guidance. To ensure the smooth operation of the new curriculum reform,the school should perfect policy support and curriculum resources,enhance the training of targeted language teacher,strengthen the research on Chinese new curriculum reform and university entrance exam integration,inhance the connection of the Chinese curriculum teaching and compulsory Chinese language education.
