Practice and Thoughts on Constructing the School-level Excellent Course "Environmental Hygiene"
in Dali University

Abstract:

Objective: To perform the function of the excellent course as the demonstration course by means of curriculum
construction with the construction of excellent courses being an important part of teaching quality and teaching reform in universities.Methods: This paper makes a review and a summary of the practice from 2011 to 2014 in constructing the school-level excellent course "Environmental Hygiene" in Dali University. Results: After 4 years' construction, improvements have been achieved in construction planning, reforms in the curriculum system and content, teaching methods, assessment modes and content, construction of the team and teaching staff and practice teaching. Conclusion: Curriculum development will have a new chance so the construction of curriculum system and the cultivation of the talents for the subject should be further strengthened.
