Abstract:

Objective: To analyze and conclude the clinical value of prospective ECG-gated CT and carekV technology of coronary
artery angiography. Methods: Eighty cases of coronary CT angiography image data were retrospectively analyzed. Forty cases were prospective ECG-gated and CarekV technology scanning group, the other 40 cases were retrospective scanning group. Both groups were conducted ECG automatic current modulation technique. With the double-blinded method, the image quality of all segmental coronary (diameter≥1 mm) and radiation dose in two groups were evaluated. Results: The individual total radiation dose in retrospective scan group was 1.862 mSv to 9.772 mSv, the average was 5.47 mSv. The individual total radiation dose in prospective ECG-gated and CarekV technology scanning group was 0.862 mSv to 2.996 mSv, the average was 1.27 mSv. There were 576 segments obtained in retrospective scanning group, in which 97.82% achieved diagnostic criteria(≤3 points), and there were 90.66% reached the excellent standard. In prospective ECG-gated and CarekV technology scanning group, there were 543 segments obtained, the rate of achieved diagnosis criteria was 95.44%, and 89.57% reached the excellent standard. Conclusion: The prospective ECG-gated CT and carekV technology in coronary CT angiography could provide excellent image which acheived clinical diagnostic standard and lower radiation dose.
