Countermeasure Research Based on the Entrance Education to Cultivate Highly Qualified Nurses

Abstract:

Objective: To discuss the purpose, significance and form of entrance education for freshmen majoring in nursing.
Methods: The entrance education practiced by the Nursing College of Dali University in recent years was summarized and analyzed.
Results: The entrance education for freshman could combine collective education with individual education, or general education with
subject- based education to effectively help students know their college and specialty. Through this, freshman may have a clear
academic goal, correct and stable faith in their major. Besides, freshman could get good habits so that they could adapt to university
study and life as soon as possible from their secondary school days. All these will build a sound foundation for students to successfully
complete their study in the university. Conclusion: It's essential that all staff should recognize the importance of entrance education.
Only when staffs willingly devote to the entrance education for freshman could it become efficient.
