Abstract:

To consolidate and improve the national identity of all ethnic groups is one of the tasks to be solved in the construction of
nation state. The construction of Diqing Tibetans' national identity is a process with the interaction of history and reality, and synergistic
effect of multiple factors. Its national identity has been changed from "oppositional identity" to "aggregate identity", and from "benefits
identity" to "rational identity", and has developed towards "values identity" and "political identity". Based on its construction process,
this paper puts forward the meaning of reinforcing the construction factors and dissolving the deconstruction factors of Diqing Tibetans'
national identity on planning and adjusting the public policy in Tibetan areas and improving the level of Tibetans' national identity.
