Abstract: With the emergence of knowledge economy and information society，servant leadership has become a hot topic in the field of leadership and management research in recent years. Analyzing the process of the emergence of the concept of servant leadership，tracing various cultures that contain ideas similar to servant leadership，this paper points out that the study of servant leadership at home and abroad are done mainly from leader attribute perspective，leadermember perspective and leaderorganization perspective. Limitations exist in current leadership research. Therefore，this paper puts forward a comprehensive research model containing the influence factors and effect of servant leadership，and predicts the future development of servant leadership research，hoping to lay a foundation for further studies.
