Abstract: The legal regime is the choice and need of sustainable development. Besides, legal regime adjusts oil industry and social relationship as well. However, there are huge differences in the performance among four types of legal regimes which are used for achieving oil industry sustainable development. Conventional legal regimes have not shown effectively control. On the contrary, unconventional legal regimes have been considered vigorous. Thereby, it is significant that we should envisage the strong and positive influence of those unconventional legal regimes which may bring us some useful advice in the future.
