伦理道德先锋——奥康纳笔下的宗教狂人

摘要： 二战后美国南方社会面临着严重的道德危机，南方作家将批判的矛头对准社会和家庭的伦理道德。南方女作家奥康纳从一个独特的非理性视角塑造大量的宗教狂人，这些狂人们以改善堕落的道德为初衷，以自身的体验为方式挑战虚伪、冷漠的上帝；他们的基本特征在于：反上帝、暴力和道德先锋，在疯子们的畸形之躯里埋藏着坚定而美好的乌托邦式理想。他们的道德理念以及疯狂行为折射了作者对南方社会和宗教信仰的认识：一个没有信仰的人只能是个无政府主义者或疯子。

Abstract: After World War II，the south of America encountered serious moral deterioration.Southern writers aimed their criticism to social and family ethics.O′Connor，a southern woman writer created a lot of religious lunatics from a unique irrationality perspective.Those mad men，aiming at improving the degraded moral，challenged the deceptive and indifferent God and religion by their own experiences.The basic characteristics of them can be summarized as antiGod，violence and moral vanguard.Their ethic values and crazy behaviors reflected O′Connors understanding of social and religious beliefs in American south：Catholicism is the only cure for the moral deprived southern society.
