Abstract: IP adaptation, which has its own features, may be the third climax of television adaptation. The connection of literature and film and television art has long had its theoretical foundation and practical operability but the novelty of IP adaptation lies in the integration and interaction between network literature industry and film and television industry. The culture industry of IP adaptation is a reflection of the diversified industrial chain and a model of industrial convergence. The fact that online literary product is taking the lead in the present times fully reflects and coincide with the future trend of cultural industry development. It should be noted that in the process of adaptation,efforts should be made in terms of content,capital gains,and technical production to shorten the gap between ideals and reality. Meanwhile, Sichuan Network Writers' Association should play a leading role in network literature industry development in Sichuan and efforts should also be made to join hands with the film and television companies.
