Abstract: Daisaku Ikeda puts forward that everything exists in the world with close connection with one another, based on Eastern civilization and Buddhist view of life. Therefore,Ikeda believes that in order to overcome the crisis people are facing in modern times, man must harmonize the relationship between man and nature, between man and man, between soul and flesh according to the holism stand. At the same time, the development of science and technology depends on holism thinking. In addition, the solution of global problems of mankind requires the integration of Eastern and Western cultures, and the integration of the world cannot be achieved without the cultivation of “global citizen”. Daisaku Ikeda’s holism philosophy about civilization reflects the oriental characteristics, which is an important contribution to the development of 21st century civilization.
