Abstract: Based on the analysis of the current management mode of oil production units adopted by Changqing Oilfield，and its development and management in the current situation，we established a corresponding evaluation index in this paper. Considering the dependency between the evaluation indices，and the difficulty in weighing determination，the method of principal component analysis was introduced to comprehensively evaluate the management efficiency of oil production units. From the actual situations of Changqing Oilfield，which has many oil production units and distribution areas，the company proposes the idea of “management based on standards”，the standards of which are the production goals and requirements according to the actual production conditions in reservoir blocks. We take a new method of evaluation based on these standards. And the oilfield company continuously strengthens the digital construction，which supports the accuracy and objectivity of the evaluation system. In the evaluation process，oil production units themselves can realize the gap between them and other units and the problems they have. Therefore，the management efficiency can be constantly improved，and management in oilfield development can be further refined.
