Abstract: The 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China called for "strengthening the cultivation of officials' fighting spirit and fighting ability". The 100-year history of the Communist Party of China is a process of constantly forging the fighting skills of officials in the practice of struggle, making them adequate to shoulder the mission and to accomplish the mission. In the era of the new democratic revolution, a revolutionary team that is loyal, good at fighting and not afraid of sacrifice was forged;in the era of socialist revolution and construction, we forged a construction team with both political and technical skills;in the era of reform, opening up and socialist modernization, we have forged a team of pioneer that kept pace with the times with a firm stand;in the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics, we have forged a team of pillar talents that can shoulder heavy responsibilities. Four major experiences can be drawn from the course of forging leading officials' fighting skills by the Party:upholding the Party's leadership and setting the right direction of fighting, grasping the main contradictions and clarifying the fighting tasks, respecting scientific truth and mastering the laws of struggle, paying attention to practice and fighting methods, which have important reference significance for leading officials to continuously enhance their fighting skills in the new era.
