Abstract: Deng Xiaoping applied the thought of conscious initiative to China's revolution, construction and reform, and presented different theoretical and practical visions in different periods. In the process of Chinese revolution, Deng Xiaoping's active thinking and exploration is reflected in the overall situation, the situation, and promote the transition; in China's construction, Deng Xiaoping's active grasp and practice in the construction and practice of socialist construction tasks, steps and system; in the process of Chinese reform, Deng Xiaoping defined the methods and paths of the historical initiative through the innovation, strategic thinking and the courage to struggle.
