Abstract:

There are,in the air police force system, such problems as vague definition about the enforcement power of the air police officers and aviation security officers and their legal functions in work.Another problem in this system is that air police force is managed and administered by the aviation companies they serve for. This paper suggests that,in order for China′s civil aviation to

develop in a healthy direction,it is necessary to regulate the relationship between air police and aviation companies, and the relationship between air police and regular police force.A clearer definition about the legal functions of the air police officers and aviation security officers and a more rational relationship between air police and regular police force can be achieved by way of law which will contribute to an improved air force system.

Key words: civil aviation, air police, law enforcement power, pilot-in-command, aviation security officers, air crash, air craft
