Abstract: With graduate students from a university as research subjects, we conducted a questionnaire survey about graduate students' understanding of intellectual property law and academic anomie, and the status quo of graduate students' academic research and academic morality. The research findings show that graduate students lack scientific attitude and lack knowledge of Intellectual property law; they also lack education of academic norms and motivation of academic achievement. As a result, some graduate students failed to conform to academic morality. In order to prevent students' academic anomie, we need to follow the guidance of intellectual property law. That means we should strengthen academic ethics, cultivate scientific attitude and awareness of intellectual property law, and improve academic morality mechanism. We need to establish consulting service system and academic credit evaluation system, creating a sound atmosphere of academic study, and to revise the legal system of intellectual property.
