Abstract: Some analysis results of benzoa pyrene in aerosol are reported in this
.paper.The samples are collected from four monitoring positions in the
Southwestern Petroleum Instittute in winter, 1986.(About aerosol，there are different definitions in different countries.The concept of aerosol used in this paper is the same as that in West European, and it is very
popular in Chinese scientific literatures.) Such contaminants as SO2，NOx,pb and aerosol in air and their pollution characters in the monitoring area are discussed, and a reasonable evaluation is given for the air poll-ution in that Institute.
