Abstract:

The primary objective of a reservoir simulation study is to predict the future performance of a reservoir and find the ways and means of increasing ultimate recovery. The information required in reservoir simulation includes some geological and petrophysical parameters and some factors related to reservoir performance, which can be obtained from various log responses.
This paper describes the use of logging to obtain these require data and discusses the conditions of using them.
