Abstract:

For analysis of light hydrocarbons in oils and condensates a very common method consists of: first, a oil or condensate is distilled and, second,it is analysed by GC using a long and highly effective capillary column .In order to avoid the loss of some light hydrocarbons because of distillation, We used three modified methods: 1. direct sampling of pure Condensates. 2 .direct sampling of oils and condensate mixed with oil after asphaltene removal by propane and resin removal by Al2O3. analysis of C4—C8 light hydrocarbons by He extraction . To support these methods, we have designed and made a micro-capillary column-connector with zero-dead volume and some other supplementary equipment.
