Abstract

Abstract:

The design and calculation of 3-D directional well trajectories are analyzed and derived in detail. Mathematical equations for determining directional well trajectories are proposed. Using these equations, we can accurately calculate the coordinates of any point in the directional well trajectories. It is suggested that this method can be used in directional-well planning and calculating.
