STUDY OF SELF-CENTERING OF SHAKER S HORIZONTAL ELLIPTIC LOCUS

Abstract:

This paper has pointed out that when every point on the shale shaker s frame makes elliptical locus motion round the major axis that is parallel to the shaker screen plane, the rubber belt pulley of the shaker can t make only rotation round the fixed axis (namely, self-centering). However, if we properly select the eccentric value of the belt pulley s geometric centre, the belt pulley s amplitude of oscillation will be reduced, thus operating conditions of the belt will still be improved.
