Abstract: Viscous oil recovery with steam injection is the most widely used and more profitable recovery technique at present. But the working life of casing under high temperature is a critical problem . This paper studies the cases of 194 damaged wells , analyzed the damage cause of viscous oil wells, carries on the simulation test on casing sample under well temperature , and at last presents suggestions of preventing casing from damage comprehensively。
