Abstract: It is more than 30 years since South Sichuan gas field began to be exploited. Now it has gone into low pressure production preiod. The stratum energy exhausion has made the surface gathering system unsuitable for the production, and has affected the further exploitation of the gap field. In consideration of the present situation of the gas field, this paper comprehensively analyzes the gathering, transportation and destribution functions of the surface gathering system, and puts forward the scheme that aims to decrease the main line pressure of the natural gas surface gathering system,thus coordinating the relationships of gathering,transportation and distribution.
