The Effect of the System of Alkaline and Polymer the Dynamic IFT between Oil and Water

Abstract: In view of Xinglongtai oil field, Liaohe, this paper studies the dynamic IFT between crude oil and alkaline liquids, such as NaOH and Na2CO3and particularly examines the effect of alkalipolymer system on the dynamic IFT between oil and water. The results show that the change of IFT between crude oil and alkaline wate with time is a dynamic one;The adding of polymer decreases the dynamic IFT between crude oil and alkaline water.THe higher the alkaline concentration is, the more stable the dynamic IFT (Eq) between
crude oil and alkaline water; The effect of biopolymer on the alkaline water flooding is especially sensitive, which is favourable to the decrease of the dynamic IFT.
