Abstract:

Flowing mechanism in the layered gas reservoirs without crossflow is analyzed and a closed circle boundary mathematical model considering wellbore storage effect and skin effect established. The model was solved with Laplace domain space, and by using Stehfest inversion algorithm, the real analytical solution of dimensionless downhole pressure and the production contribution of each layer in layered gas reservoirs are finally obtained. It is indicated that 1,if ignoring skin effect, layer production contribution is nearly equal to βj before pressure wave reaches boundary and equal to ωj when pressure wave reaches boundary and pseudosteady state is arrived,2,if skin effect exists, layer production contribution is no longer equal to βj or ωj,generally speaking, the layer with larger skin factor will contribute less while the layer with smaller skin factor will contribute more. The research results are helpful to the selection of field technologic measures and proper production allocation of gas wells.
