A NEW FORMULA TO CALCULATE THE DELIVERABILITY OF HORIZONTAL WELL

Abstract:

Analytic method is an important approach to research the deliverability of the horizontal well.In analytical method based on the mathematical model，through the appropriate assumption to simplify the initial equation，the boundary conditions，the conformal mapping，image mapping，the principle of potential superposition and the equivalent flow resistance method are used to obtain the formula and it′s analytical solution.Based on the sufficient research on the development history and current situation of formula for calculating the horizontal well deliverability，through the simplifying and dividing the drainage area shape，processing the drainage region in threedimensional，following the rule of horizontal well flow，that plane flow in the far region and vertical radial flow near wellbore region，using the equivalent flow resistance method，a new formula for calculating horizontal well deliverability is obtained.The formula is simple and easy to understand，and compared with the classic formula，it is indicated that the new formula is reasonable and reliable.
