Abstract:

After briefly explaining the work of the drilling pump,we made an analysis of the propertise,mechanism and the major influencing factors of the seal failure of drilling pumps.In order to prevent the seal from failing we suggestes improving the lubricity of the drilling fluid,perfrcting the cleaning system,comtrolling the clearance between the piston and the liner and taking some preventive measures.
