Abstract:

In this paper，Slate’s wave function and potential function are used, and one of the rules of screening constants determined by Hsu Kwanghsien，et al. is modified, and the static dipole polarizability of atom Li is calculated by means of an approximate method. Compared with approximate Uncoupled Hartree-Fock(Approx, UCHF)method，the approximate calculation method presented in the paper is much simpler; and the results obtained are much more accurate.
