Abstract: This paper presents a mathematical model for describing theunsteady flow in complex branch-like pipelines. By applying the mathematical-physical method and making a series of strict mathematical calculations, the formula for determining the pressure which depends on pipe-length and time is obtained. For the sake of applying the formula to production practice, a computer program is compiled, and a real example and its calculation results are given.
