Abstract:

Power transmission system is one of the main parts of the drilling equipment.
After discussing performance characteristics of the drilling equipment and its demands on power transmission，we have analysed in this paper various hydraulic drive rigs used now and their problems. Lt is suggested that Allison transmission system be applied in drilling equipment and two schemes are presented.
