Abstract:
An extracting method of light hydrocarbons in source rock has been introduced in this paper. The extracts can be directly analyzed with gas chromatography. C4—C7 light hydrocarbons have extensive application in geochemistry. Two different condensates from Sichuan basin being taken as an example, how to justify their source origin and maturity, and how to do gas source correlation by using C4—C7 light hydrocarbons have also been discussed in this paper.
