PROBE INTO WELL LOGGING EVALUATION OF BOREHOLE WALL STABILITY IN TARIM BASIN

Abstract

Abstract: Aiming at the problem of borehole wall instability,researching the method of well logging evaluation for borehole stability in Tarim Basin is studied.Based on rock mechanics,the logging data are used to calculate the parameters of rock mechanical property,formation pore pressure,geo-stress and break pressure and so on.And the secure window of mud density is obtained,so the reasonable engineering parameters for the drilling is provided.
