    Artificial intelligence has gradually been used in the domain of well test analysis in recent years. By its nature, well test analysis is really an artificial intelligence problem. This paper discusses how expert system is applied to well test interpretation and what should be studied. It also describes in detail the composition, the structure, the mechanism and the method of our expert system in well test analysis. Finally, an example is given to show the usage of the expert system.

    This is the fourth paper studying the viscoelaticity of retained polymer molecules in porous media, (1) (2) (3) A comparison of molecular flexibility is made between HPAM and Xathan Gum. It has been shown theoretically that the viscoelastic recovery of the flexible retained molecules causes the effective flowing area of throat to decrease exponentially, and thus causes the flow rate to decrease in the same manner. Based on this, a new method has been developed for measuring the relaxation time of retained polymer molecules in porous media.The effect of core permeability and soulution salinity on viscoelastic flow has also been studied.

    In this paper, the DSE dynamic simulation equipment is used to study the effect of such parameters as pressure difference, time, temperature, mud flow rate and rotational speed of drilling tool on the formation damage. Then, the comparative analysis between dynamic state damage and static state damage is completed. The experiment results play an important role in the analysis of formation damage mechanism, in the determination of damage evaluation standards, and in production practice.

    This paper deals with the application of the boron-vanadium-doping technique to dies. The experimental analyses have been made of the microstructures and wear resistance of the boron-vanadium-doping layer of die steel, and of the influence of technological parameters on it. The results show that the wear resistance of dies after the treatment is improved so much that their working life becomes many times longer than that before the treatment.

    Gas storage of pipeline end is used to overcome the unbalance of gas consumption round the clock. As the users undulatory gas consumption at the end of pipeline day and night causes the unsteady gas flow in pipeline end, this paper applies the gas unsteady flow equation to calculate the length and diameter of pipeline end. After comparing the results by the unsteady gas flow calculating method with those by the steady gas flow calculating method, it is shown that the pipeline end determined according to steady gas flow calculating method could not meet the demands of overcoming unbalance of gas consumption the clock round sometimes.

    Wen-23 fault block is a horst fault block in the middle and north parts of wenliu structure in the central swell of Dongpu Depression. Sha-4 gas reservoir is an inclined nose-like structure in the south. The fault block results from the pull from the near east to the west and the thrust to the east as well as the right spin and translation compound stress, thus forming the existing horst structure pattern broken up by faults. wendong and wenxi faults not only are the boundaries of the east, the north and the west,but also control the distribution of gas and water in the fault block.

    Landslide and mndflow often lead to the special natural disaster in the economical construction of mountainous areas. This paper has expounded that disastrous mudflow is caused by the highspeed landslide in Qikuo, Huaying city. Among the factors of its influence, besides lithological and geological structures, the most important is the changes in the atmospheric and undergrund waters, which result in the formation and expansion of mudrock creep zone in the mountainus rock. In addition, the thunderstorm and drenching rain are the cause of huge mudflow.

    A practical method of inserting waiting state in Single-Component Microcomputer (SCM) and a 8031 SCM development system composed of dualport RAM are provided in this paper. It is a parallel dual processor system consisting of a master, a dual-port RAM board and a SCM emulator. The master can monitor SCM so that the breakpoint function of software is achieved easily. The system is a cheap ICE, so it can develop other microprocessor by replacing the emulator.

    This paper analyzes a magnetic coupling parallel resonant converter (PRC) by the state space method and obtains the steady state solutions. On the basis of the results, the author presents a simple design procedure. In the circuit analysis, the paper takes into account the effects of parasitic parameters of the high frequency transformer, which makes the design principle more effective.

    Based on the evolution of geologic history and the reconstruction of sedimentary process, temperature change, and gas generation, this paper calculates by improved TTI method the volume of gas generated in Upper Triassic in Zitong region of Northwest Sichuan .basin .According to the volume calculated as well as the geologic characteristics of this region, this paper evaluates the gas richness in Upper Triassic.The method of evaluating gas resources of coal measure strata introduced here can be commonly applied in other similar regions.

    A whole set of log explanaticrs for old sells in Sichuan where the data are not enough is presented in this paper.On the basis of dividing permeable formations qualitatively and judging oil-gas formations quantitatively, the concept of elcctrcde relative value of limestone is presented here for the first time, which is used to divide gas or water formations semiquantitatively,calculate pcrosity, permeability and oil saturation of reservoirs, divide gas-water formations quantitatively,and determine classification evaluation criterions of gas formations .The set of log explanations is believable and feasible for the purpose of reservoir evaluation, and the choice and reproduction of
    formations in old wells of carbonate rocks in Sichuan.

    Three-phase relative permeability measurements are made experimentally by the steady-state method for WINSOR-III type micellar fluids.Comparisons are made between the two ways("O/M; W" and "O/M+M/Wn)by which the three-phase relative permeability curves are obtained ,The characteristics of the shape of the curves have been recogiused .Preliminary study of the effects of IFT and flow rate on the three-phase flow behavior has been made .It is established that phase saturations can be calculated from fractional flow rate for steadystate flow under ultra low IFT conditions.

    The Lagrangian method is used to describe the trajectories of multidispersed suspended particles moving near a spherical collector and to study the microscopic hydrodynamic depositional properties of the particles.The judgement conditions for five different depositional patterns are given.Through the correction for the flow field, the relationship between the microscopic change of the particle concentration and the local depositional properties is obtained.

    CZP, which is made from agricultrual by-products, is a foaming agent for removing liquid from gas well.By laboratory evaluation and field experiment, it is shown that CZP has a powerful foaming effect, possesses good foam stability, carries large quantities of liquid and is widely adaptable under conditions of gas well .It may be used to remove liquid from gas wells which contain 70-90%gas condensates, or high content of sulfides, and used in the sulfur-bearing gas wells more than 3000 m deep as well as in general gas wells.It is a cheap excellent foaming agent for gas wells.

    The hydration rate of Class G net oil-well cement slurry and the slurry with retarder tartaric arid is measured respectively by the meth ods of electricai conductance and acidity, and then the retardation mechanis of tartaric acid is discussed.Experiment results show that the method of electrical conductance can illustrate the hydration prcccss of oil一well cement more thoroughly and mere really than that of acidity.

    A method for analyzing the concentration of polyacrylamide, which is based on the iodine-starch, is developed FeSO4, used as reductant and NH4HF2 as masking agent,the concentration of polyacrylamide may be determined within 0-24 ppm while by the old method within 0-6 ppm Especially, this method almost is not affected by the room temperature

    In Reference(1), a calculation formula for gas leak position is obtained by using Laplace Transform,but its result is wrong by checking, In this paper,according to the general model, an approximate calculation formula for gas leak position and gas leak flow in pipeline networks is obtained by using asymptotic methods of Laplace Transform, This formula is simple in measurement and calculation, and is suitable for gas leak problems of complex pipeline networks.
