    PROBING RESEARCH OF CRUDE OIL NOBL GAS FROM THE JIUXI BASIN

    The noble gas isotope of 8 crude oil samples of the Qingxi oil field in the Qingxi depression and Yaerxia oil field in the Southern uplift in the Jiuxi basin was measured. He source of the crude oils was discussed. The 3He/4He(Rc)ratios of the crude oil noble gases from 4 wells in the Qingxi oil field, the 527 well and the 702 well in the Yaerxia oil field reach an order of 10-8,indicating a crust radioactive source. This shows that the overthrusts related to the Qingxi oil field and the 527 well and the 702 well in the Yaerxia oil field cut into the depth of the crust. The 3He/4He(Rc)ratios of the crude oil noble gases
    from the 501 well and the 114 well in the Yaerxia oil field is up to an order of 10-7, showing the input of a minor amount of mantle-derived helium and the cutting depth of the overthrusts associated with the two wells into the mantle. The geothermal flow of the Jiuxi basin is lower than that of the basins of eastern China, displaying that the basin has weak tectonic activity.

    Based on the sandstone and mudstone percentage obtained from the relationship of interval seismic velocity to these and other parameters required, the total subsidence and tectonic subsidence were computed to the basement of the overburden.The subsiding curves could be categorized as two types, concave and convex, based on their shape. The former is the character-
    istics of the subsiding curves of the depression near the North Monocline, and the later the other tectonic belts of the Kuqa depression. Subsiding velocity changes of different evolutionary stages show the coupling between the Kuqa depression and the Tianshan mountain. Based on the relationship between the total and tectonic subsiding curves, the convex subsiding curves can
    be further divided into two secondary types: harmonious and disharmonious. The later shows salt flow, which happened a-long the south limb of Kelasu tectonic belt.

    On basis of a lot of statistics, natural gas resource of China is studied from its type, accumulation, and distribution. First, the history of exploration of conventional gas is divided into four stages, the reserves of conventional gas have been improved three step types and the reserves of conventional gas are mainly distributed in the six major basin. Second, the reserves of con-
    ventional gas are mainly distributed in sea basin of East, Mid-dle, Northern-Western. The conventional gas resource in China is with features of old strata, low richness, and low proved rate. Third, the resource of coalbed Methane of China is mainly distributed in Eastern, Middle, and Northern-Western China.
    Fourth, general tight sandstone gas and deep basin gas is two different types of tight sandstone gas. There is the superior fac-tor to form deep basin gas and there is much resource of deep basin gas. Fifth, South China Sea, East China Sea, Tibet Pla-teu, and North-East China are rich in natural gas hydrate.
    Sixth, there is a lot of formation water in petroleum basins in China, where water soluble gas is largely existing. In the end,shale gas, deep source gas, CO2and H2S resource are plenty,which should not be neglected in China.

    Da’anzhai oil reservoirs are the chief production zones of Chuanzhong oil field. Most of oil and gas are from the Da’anzhai carbonate formation. With the long time past, the out-put decreases and some wells are even exhausted. So it is much necessary to study the oil-bearing characteristics and predict the output. In the paper, the reservoirs are classified into three
    types by oil productivity: dry zones, low production zones and high production zones. The qualitative characteristics of the dif-ferent types are reduced according to the information of well logging, geology and production test, and the models of produc-tion formation are set up. Eventually, the methods are formed,which is used to select pay zone and predict the productivity.

    The effect well construction investing risk is a general problem in the world. The key of the study of the well structure design considering the salt creep is the design idea must be changed. In order to satisfy the salt formation, it should be considered two factors: one is the salt creep pressure profile; the
    other is the salt creep well pressure curve. Finally, the reasonable well construction will extend the well life and the synthetical economic benefits will be obtained. According to the results of the study of the salt creep rules, the results of the well con struction were successfully applied in Tarimy Qiucan Well 1.

    model and formulas in Laplace space, for the convenient and the practicality to apply in oil field.Therefore, it could apply a great deal of existent flow models of the horizontal wells and it’s pressure solution in the reservoir models.     This paper applied the transient performance prediction model of horizontal well with coupled wellbore and reservoir that was found by Duan yong-gang etc to calculate and verify the model according to the result. The calculated results indi-cated that the effect of the horizontal well and reservoir form
    and parameters are fully considered in the model. In the hori-zontal well, because the frictional drop is far bigger than accel-eration drop, in the fact application we can ignore the effect of acceleration of liquid in the wellbore.     Darcy’s law, the principle law through porous media, put forward one hundred years ago, was derived by experiments with liquid. For gas flow in porous media, a slippage effect ex-ists, especially when pressure is low, or velocity is low or per-meability is low. Gas flow equation in porous media with a slip-page effect was presented, combining with molecular diffusion
    theory. It is a theoretical foundation for further study on per-meable theory, reservoir engineering, and performance analysis in low gas permeability reservoirs.

    Based on fluid flowing through porous media mechanisms and the geologic characteristic of exploitation, 102 geologic models were established in low permeability reservoir of Changqing oil field in this paper. Using numerical simulation,102 schemes were designed and calculated in rhomboidal and
    rectangular well patterns. A theoretical plate of reasonable ratio of space between wells and rows in different well patterns were studied, and different anisotropy degree formations of low per-meability reservoirs were determined. Through the theoretical plate, the reasonable ratio of space between wells and rows was easily acquired. All these things will provide theoretical supports
    for designing the exploitation schemes.

    This paper put forward a ICT (Industrial Computerized Tomography) measuring way of density difference which mea-sures the porosity distribution of reservoir core for the further studying of porous structure and the porosity distribution using technology of ICT, and the measuring way have been applied to measure the porosity and porosity distribution of a core sample
    from certain oilfield. The result indicates that the CT density difference method is effective to measure the porosity distribu-tion. The method is faster and more accurate than conventional methods, and it has also the merit, such as no damage to core sample and similar to formation condition.     To the condition of water flooding after polymer flooding,due to improper mobility ratio, following water will quickly breakthrough the bank of polymer to production wells, which cause water cut in production wells in a short time. To solve this problem, polymer-fixed technology of double-fluid method has been put forward in this paper. Results show that applica-tion of the technology after polymer flooding could fully fix high concentration polymer in site and the formed gel system will ef-fectively plug these high permeability channels, impel following water to strata of medium and low permeability and improve the
    oil recovery after polymer flooding.     A new formulation of dispersant has been developed by or-thogonal test method in laboratory. The dispersant is used to granulate a certain colloid polymer and composed of 10% tech-nical soap, 60% kerosene and 30% tap water. At the same time, its validity, the influence on the polymer performance, e-conomic benefit and so on, are considered. The new dispersant has the same granulation performance, operation method and u-nit volume (weight) for granulation as the ordinary one, and under the same conditions, it shows much better characters of homogeneous granulation.

    Based on the mathematical theory of analytical geometry of three dimensions and computer graphics, the paper does some im-portant research on the integration plot forwell track and stratigraph-ic section and borehole log.Aset of application program compiled by VB6.0 language has been successfully applied to realize the integra-tion plot and bring outthe three-dimensional contact relation between well track and formation visually.     The slope zone of Biyang depression developed many faults and has complicated faults system. This paper pointed out that main fault’s scale and continuity and arrangement relationship with sand-body distribution and axial direction of the nose structure control the hydrocarbon migration and pool type and accumulation and enrich-ment through studying on feature of faults system and hydrocarbon accumulation in slope zone of Biyang depression. The second hydro-carbon Exploration is very successful based on these study.

    Thin layer division and contrast is the foundation for the en-forcement of oil field development scheme,but general method of thin layer division and contrast have certain limitation. To surmount this defect,this paper have applied a new method to carry out thin layer division and contrast. This method is according to the view-point of Sequence Stratigraphy, on the basis of thicker sequence di-vision, with the Parasequence methods, Parasequence group meth-ods, isotime methods and slice methods and so on to carry out the thin layer division and contrast for shaxi structure N1-N12oil reser-
    voir. According to the contrast result of oil-water relation and thin layer division, with this method of integration analysis, it is practi-cal and feasible to carry out thin layer division and contrast.

    The correlative relationship of the development index of oilfield can be established by use of functional simulation theory(such as differential simulation method and NN method), the authors re-searched the oilfield(oil production plant or development unit) and set up the optimal models of measure structure with different goals,including maximum measure oil-output(fixed measure workload ,fixed measure cost);minimum measure cost(fixed measure oil-out-put,fixed measure workload) and maximum economic benefit(fixed measure workload, fixed measure oil-output, fixed measure cost),
    which solved the optimal structure problems successfully with each subentry measure oil-output (usually contained fracture oil-output、acidification oil-output、overhaul oil-output、other measure oil-output and so on) and the corresponding measure workload and other de-velopment index of oilfield (or oil production plant). The satisfacto-ry economic benefit can be obtained that applied the models into de-velopment programming in some oilfield, which was in the mid-late stage.

    Longitudinal metal flowof solid expandable tubularwas studied according to stimulant mechanical environment of borehole in this paper. The 35CrMomaterial pipe was selected to be tested. Meshed experiment was adopted to study the plastic deformation of metal. The results of the test and analysiswere indicated the metal flowwas non-uniform on the longitudinal direction of tubular. The results of metallographic examination have proved that the results of meshed experiment is correct, it is concluded that meshed experiment can be used to research the oilfield tubular goods.

    The water flooding in the oilfield can cause the change of not only reservoir fluid saturation, but also reservoir temperature and pressure. These variations pose the different influences on the seis-mic velocity, and can be reflected on the time-lapse seismic profile.For analyzing and discussing the alone or integrated variety laws that temperature, pressure and saturation of water function cause, this paper makes full use of the Biot-Gassmann equation, and combine the other experiential formulas to get the volume modulus of fluid and the elastic modulus of rock. Throughthe study of the variety law of the velocity of sandstone strata of Bohai oilfield, its results will help us to acknowledge the time-lapse seismic monitoring technique,and improve the ability of recognizing the oil-pool’s change of the time-lapse monitoring in the area.

    Several parameters have been screen out for evaluating affection of gas miscible and immiscible injection based on studying all factors affecting displacement behavior. Ranks and distribution functions,as well as point models of each factor collected from application ex-ample in literature have also been presented in paper. A characteris-tic parameter’s comprehensive weight optimization method for screening candidate oil reservoir for gas injection has been built up by introducing Fuzzy Analytical Hierarchy Process and Integrated Weighting Point Process. Application in three practical reservoirs in-dicates it is a successfulway of combining two sides of subjective af-fection to evaluating and objective suitability for gas injection. Inte-

    The effects ofwell trajectory and azimuth on sand production of bare well completion formation have been studied quantitatively in this paper with a commercial finite element software and Equivalent Plastic Strain. The results show that both the maximal plastic strain and the plastic area increase with well angle that ranges from 0 o to 45°at given in-situ stress and formation. The sand production in-creases too. The maximal plastic strain decreases with well angle that ranges from 45°to 90°, and the sand production decreases too.The plastic zone changes with well azimuth, even though well angle is same. It is better for sand control that Well, especially horizontal well drilling should be along with in-situ horizontal stress.

    Shallow gas formation production law is probed by taking the shallow Tertiary gas formation production as example, as well as combining the experiences of shallow gas formation production from home and abroad, to guide the production correspondingly. Gener-ally, the shallow gas formations are of smaller size, lower gas col-umn, loose pay zone and water production; in production, the reservoirs have a very shorttime inwithoutwater production and stable production, and they are easy to produce water and sands, the
    production law clearly differs frommiddle-deepwhole package structure gas reservoirs. Aimed at“the three-low characteristics”(lowdaily output, lowgas production rate and lowgas recovery), quick-er water production easier well bore liquids accumulation and sands production, the principle is put forward to improve well pattern and avoid continuously stimulating gas well.

    The most important factor for evaluating the capability of foam drilling mud is the foam stability, that is the foam half-life. Currently the most common method used to determine the foam half-life is the conventional measuring cylinder method which is simple and convenient. However, the disadvantages are artificial errors and it can not be recorded the foam decay process. To overcome such a limitation, a newmethod has been used to evaluate the foam stability. An apparatuswhich is calledMA-2000 Turbi Scan has been used
    to analyze the foam stability. The measurement is more advanced and accurate and is controlled by a computer operating automatically. The analyzing results are two curves exported by computer. From the curves we can observe clearly the foam decay process and numerate the foam half-life.

    When acid fluids flow in artificial fractures, some larger pores or natural fractures are dissolved by acid to enlarge into wormholes so that acid mainly leaks through wormholes. Therefore, it must be considered the effects of acidizingwormholes on acid leak-off in naturally-fractured reservoirs.     Acrylic acid (AA) and sodium allyl-sulfonate (SAS) have been used to synthesize a solid scale inhibitor. The relationships between the inhibition function and monomer ratio, initiator concentration, copolymer amount added, Ca2+concentration, temperature and time of the solution have been studied in laboratory. Results have shown that the scale inhibitor has a good effect on reducing scale of CaCO3.

    A newstyle thermostable binary copolymer filtrate loss reducer-PAX, has been synthesized by 2-acryloyl-2-methyl-propylsulfonate (AMPS) and acryamide (AM) under a redox system. Results have been shown that PAX possesses good effect on reducing fluid loss under 220℃and saturated brine media.
