Abstract: With the development of the oil field exploration, the quantity of the highly difficult well increases constantly, we had gotten COMPASS and WELLPLAN application software of LANDMARK to satisfy drilling design and field processing.The functions of these two sets of software are very strong.
They satisfied the highly difficult well design and field process-ing better in these two years. The level of drilling design and field processing was improved. The difficult problems that ex-isted originally in drilling have been solved. Production efficien-cy was improved, and the cost of drilling was reduced. The most important thing is that they can offer the reliable decision
for leadership, and turn science and technology into productivi-ty.
